프로젝트 개요
Background
In spring 2024, a destination wedding was scheduled at a Tuscan garden on the outskirts of Florence. The ceremony area was set on a lawn bordered by cypress trees, used from mid-afternoon through dusk. Seating for guests needed to be arranged in rows, with total capacity kept under 100 to match the site layout and ceremony flow.
Requirements and challenges
- Outdoor ground adaptability: The lawn had slight undulations, requiring chair legs with stable footing that would not wobble on soft soil or minor slopes.
- Afternoon sun and temperature range: Tuscan afternoon light is strong, and the ceremony continued into the evening. Metal frames and contact surfaces needed to withstand temperature shifts and short-term direct exposure.
- Style consistency: The chair lines needed to sit comfortably within a classical garden setting. The gold frame could not be overly bright and had to avoid glare that might interfere with photography or sightlines.
Specification and solution
- Classic gold-framed wedding chair: We selected the more classically proportioned model from our four in-stock wedding chair ranges. The frame is metal with a matte gold finish to reduce outdoor reflection.
- Seat and backrest configuration: Seat cushions were specified in a light beige fabric, with padding kept within a standard seating range for comfort during longer ceremonies and visual consistency with the outdoor setting.
- Row layout logic: Chairs were arranged in two blocks by ceremony depth, with aisle space allowed between rows. No ground stakes were used; wide flat foot caps were fitted to suit the soft lawn conditions.
Delivery and outcome
- Quantity delivered: 80 wedding chairs in total, laid out in a single pass according to the final guest list and reserved seating.
- Stability check: All rows were tested by hand pressure and lateral push. No chair in the uneven lawn areas showed visible wobble or suspended feet.
Client feedback: The gold was less pronounced on site than expected. The chairs sat firmly, looked balanced in the afternoon-to-dusk light, and there were no seating issues during the ceremony.
